Should have spent my money on an MSFS addon instead. I hoped it will be a great product, but it is a huge disappointment.
#CONDOR 2 GLIDER FLIGHT SIMULATOR FULL#
The sky is full with birds (I have a few hours in gliders, and I have never ever seen so many birds around me in real life) It does not support Opentrack or similar camera control, the option menu is very limited (no selection of time, or season), no winch launch, some planes can be started from the air only. This is way below the usual Aerosoft quality.

Time trial for multiplayer would be a good idea too. I hope to see more features added like new maps or objectives. The whole point of the series was to give beginners the experience of flying but this just isnt enjoyable. This isnt a good start for the World of Aircraft series especially at this price. I think the biggest problem is there isnt much to do which i feel could be resolved with a better map with multiple airstrips. Over all I do like the controls, sounds, and physics.
Just make sure you use the Dev option in the control setup. I had no issues setting up my TM Warhog HOTAS and Saitek Combat Rudder pedals. Theres just nothing to do unless you are with friends but even that might get boring quick. At least put a GPS map on the screen! The cockpits arent interactive BTW which isnt a huge deal when dealing with the simple controls of a glider. The cockpits in the game are pretty bare. There are a few tiny hills off to one side but the scale is so off its just not enjoyable to fly around them. The fun of gliding is soaring around and enjoying the scenery but the scenery in this game is just bad. This year around I build a micro-PC (small form factor), mid-range budget, and very happy with it both in performance and size (freeing up desk space etc ).Cannot recommend for $30. I personally have been building/putting together my own PC's over the years, which allows me to be specific on my performance needs and component quality. The chaps/ladies there really know there stuff and will give you the best advice depending on your needs/budget.įor all parts/systems etc I would recommend the same site:

Regarding advice on new PC upgrade, I would recommend the forums at Overclockers : (post your request in the "New to PC gaming & upgrade advice" thread). The other sims like IL2/Flying circus/Cliffs of Dover require a bit more oomph. I would check the system requirements of this sim on there website and compare it to yours. The good news is that Condor 2 soaring simulator does not require a mega pc to run it. Not enough hours in the day m8 but lovin' it all (anything to do with flying is a good thing in my book) I did treat myself to a homebuilt micro PC/components etc last year and a monitor upgrade for all of the above but seem to be drawn back into RC gliding and programming these new digital transmitters/posting in these forums. I also bought Rise of Flight WW1 seat of the pants flying sim a while back, still got to sort that one out. Hope it wasn't your yours!Ĭliffs Of Dover Bl itz edition is going for a song (has had a bit of history regarding bugs etc but the devs are on it still as far as I know, does require a powerful pc though). Good old classic sidewinder.Funny thing I actually found a working one near a skip a few years back here in London.Like winning the lottery it was lol. I'm in the same boat regarding being a long time since I flew WW2 flight sims. Yes I remember when IL2 came out many moons ago it seems. They certainly have improved it on many levels for sure.
